Job Title : Network Security Engineer – Palo Alto Firewalls

Duration : 12 Months

Location : Remote (U.S.)

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our network security team. The team’s primary focus is on Palo Alto firewalls, IDS infrastructure, and programmatic updates of AWS security groups using Terraform, Ansible, and Python. This role will support a high-volume environment and supplement ongoing projects, requiring hands-on experience, strong network fundamentals, and technical problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls including policy management, deployment, troubleshooting, and design.
• Support IDS infrastructure with a focus on Linux-based deployments.
• Programmatically update AWS security groups using automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Collaborate with the network security team on design, deployment, and operational improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation (primary coverage one week on, secondary coverage as applicable).
• Contribute to ongoing projects and operational tasks to maintain secure, reliable, and efficient network operations.
