Total annual compensation for this position is $52,356 ($52,356 base pay)
Base pay for this position is $2014 / biweekly ($52,356 / annually) . There are 26 biweekly pay periods in a year.
The annualized hourly rate for this position is $25.17 per hour, with an overtime rate of $37.76 / hour
This position will spend the warmer months (generally May 1 through October 31) on the Grand Junction traffic / paint crew and the winter months (generally November 1 through April 30) on the Skull Creek / Dinosaur patrol.
What You Will Do
No two days are exactly the same in CDOT highway maintenance. Your daily work activities change based on project needs and also vary based on weather, environment, and road conditions. You will be on-call on a rotating basis as well as subject to call to respond to weather and other emergencies. You will typically work in a team environment, as each maintenance patrol location has at least one lead highway maintenance specialist and multiple highway maintenance specialists.
