About The Position

We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Nov 28, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour call shifts and involves caring for newborns and pediatric patients in a rural environment. The ideal candidate should have a clean background for temporary privileges and experience with pediatric critical care.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide inpatient pediatric care as the Pediatric Hospitalist

Manage two neonatal beds for babies requiring advanced care or close observation

Oversee up to 15 mother / baby rooms

Deliver care to newborns and pediatric patients

Collaborate with nursing and ancillary teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation

Additional Information

Must hold an active Oregon medical license

Required board certification : Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Experience with pediatric critical care preferred

Candidates must be comfortable working in a rural setting

Clean background required for temporary privileges
