Position Overview
The Service Manager - HVAC is responsible for overseeing the service department operations, ensuring high-quality customer service, and managing HVAC maintenance and repair projects. This role involves leading a team of technicians, providing technical support, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department.
- Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules for HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate installation and repair projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activities and customer interactions.
- Monitor energy management practices and recommend improvements to building management systems.
- Conduct training sessions for team members on technical skills and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in HVAC service management or related field.Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.Experience in project management and team leadership.Familiarity with building management systems and energy management practices.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in the HVAC industry.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Benefits
