Overview :

Responsible for implementing, in coordination with Department of Organizational Development, Nurse Managers and staff developers, programs aimed at improving competencies and increasing awareness of nursing trends. In conjunction with Nurse Manager, physician leaders, and administrator, develops and monitors QI program for the Unit / Care Center. Serves as a clinical consultant and a role model by planning and coordinating patient care in area of specialty practice. As a resource person for MAP, consults with physicians, consumers, community and other health care disciplines.

Qualifications :

• Experience : A minimum of 3 years experience in specialty is strongly preferred.
• Required Education : Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• License : current RN license in our state
• Certifications : Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
