Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1

THE POSITION

Do you enjoy spending your workday outdoors, operating specialized equipment and performing skilled manual tasks? The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking an experienced and dependable Game Lands Maintenance Worker for our State Game Lands. This position allows you to utilize your specialized skill set to maintain land, facilities, infrastructure, habitat, and resource areas in order to provide opportunities for lawful hunting and trapping. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1, you will be performing semi-skilled work and assisting with other essential duties in order to maintain functionality of the state game lands. For example, you will assist with the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. You will also have the opportunity to assist with mowing, habitat management, and other duties as needed.

This is the perfect job for you to continue developing skills in the construction trades, as well as expand upon your knowledge and understanding of the agency's wildlife habitat program!

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. AWS (alternate work schedule) may be available.
• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
