Looking to take your architectural knowledge beyond the drafting table? Our client is seeking a Specification Writer to drive precision and consistency across technical project documents. You'll play a key role in shaping projects from the inside out-contributing to the foundation of buildings that matter, across a wide range of sectors. Compensation : $60,000 - $80,000 annually (based on experience)

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Write and coordinate technical specifications and project manuals
  • Align documents with architectural drawings, codes, and client standards
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants
  • Research materials and methods to ensure compliance and innovation
  • Maintain and update firm-wide spec templates and standards
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and code checks
  • Assist with construction administration by reviewing submittals

    • What You'll Need to Be Considered :

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
  • Familiarity with CSI MasterFormat
  • Experience using specification software (MasterSpec, e-SPECS, or similar preferred)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of evolving building codes and materials
  • Prior experience maintaining spec templates is a plus
  • Revit or AutoCAD exposure is helpful but not required
