Summary :
As a utility engineer, you will provide mechanical or electrical expertise and cost effective solutions for multiple utility facility operating and construction projects that meet budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and manage engineering activities concerned with design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning
Mechanical : Boiler, Compressed Dry Air System, Chiller, HVAC, Piping etc.
Electrical : Switchgear (MV, LV), Transformer, PLC, Bus duct etc.Preventive maintenance execution in order to complete all PM tasksTroubleshoot the abrupt breakdown of utility facilitiesMake and review technical documentMonitoring utility operationDemonstrate problem-solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility costFollow the work procedure and comply with safety & standardPerform other duties as assignedMaintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards :Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right ContainerFollow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP's during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and / or surrounding work areaQualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experienceExperience :
1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as a mechanical or electrical utility system engineer preferredSkills :
Exposure in mechanical or electrical facilities setting, preferably in production facilityExperienced with the handling of Utility FacilitiesCertifications with certificates on the mechanical or electrical engineering and certification of boiler operation & maintenanceComfortable working independently and with othersResults-oriented and perseverantCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsProject and process management skillsStrong attention to detailTechnically proficient and motivated to continuously improveBenefits Overview
