Position Description : Epoxy / Paint Operator

As an Epoxy / Paint Operator at LayerZero Power Systems, you will be responsible for the preparation, coating, and finishing of metal components and enclosures used in high-performance power distribution systems. Your work will directly contribute to the durability, safety, and appearance of mission-critical equipment.

Requirements : Primary Duties :

  • Prepare parts by masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting
  • Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques
  • Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and follow build specs, safety data sheets (SDS), and digital instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
  • Assist teammates with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements
  • Use PPE and tools correctly and follow all safety guidelines

    • Skills & Experience :

  • Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work
  • Comfortable using hand tools and working with small parts
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods
  • Able to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach as needed
  • Good hand-eye coordination and vision for detailed inspection

    • Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
