Overview

Join our team as a day shift , PRN , Physical Therapist in Westwood, NJ. 2 weekend days per month on IP and occasional weekday coverage on OP and IP.

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

Provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease

Restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.

Examine patients’ medical histories and then test and measure the patients’ strength, range of motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function

Develop appropriate treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree

1 years’ experience required (this requirement will be waived with a strong recommendation from an acute care or outpatient clinical affiliation)

Current valid NJ State Physical Therapy license

Maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification

Preferred Job Requirements :

Master’s degree or PhD in Physical Therapy

2 years’ experience

Experience with electronic health records
