Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Profession : Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : OB / GYN Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Varied Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : 2 years of OB experience required License : Ohio license required Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE Certification, Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have : - Must have completed 1 travel assignment - Must be able to function as a 1st assist and scrub in OB - highly preferred - BLS certification can pend, all others must be active at the time of submission Description : The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on their shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN / PCT and Unit Secretaries. Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes. Every 3rd weekend required.
