Tennessee Licensed APS Intake Counselor

A company is looking for an APS Intake Counselor 2.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document information regarding allegations of self-neglect, abuse, exploitation, and / or neglect of vulnerable adults

Document information in the case management system and verify existing data for intake reports

Evaluate and analyze data to determine if reports meet APS criteria for investigations and assign response priorities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant professional experience in social services, human services case management, or related fields

One year of qualifying graduate coursework may substitute for required experience

Must complete a criminal background history disclosure form and provide fingerprint samples for a criminal history check

Must not be listed on any vulnerable persons' registry or the state's sex offender registry

Must successfully complete a prescribed training course upon appointment
