ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ED ER

Job Details :

  • Work in Emergency Department on 1st floor, B Tower
  • Self-scheduling available
  • 4 weekend shifts per month required
  • Variable patient ratios depending on acuity and volume
  • Work with 38 beds including trauma bays, burn room, psych room, and vertical treatment area
  • Required certifications : Texas RN licensure or compact license eligible, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
  • Must have SAMA, CPI, or equivalent (30 day grace period provided if needed)
  • ENPC certification preferred
  • Use standard emergency / trauma equipment
  • Work with EMR - Meditech system
  • Dress code : Royal blue scrubs (branded preferable)
  • Handle certified chest pain, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 trauma, and accredited burn cases
  • May cross-train for sister facility (Medical City Frisco)
  • Work alongside RN, advanced paramedic, EMT, and unit secretary staff
  • Must have easy going personality, flexibility, positive attitude, and patient-first philosophy
