The Manager, Program Management, Operations is responsible for managing complex projects or portfolios with multiple sub projects at PROCEPT as well as leading and developing project managers in the Operations PMO team. The scope of the projects includes sustaining, new product introduction as well as new process introduction. As a leader in the organization, the candidate must possess the ability to collect organizational metrics, translate insights from the data and then recommend organizational projects and improvements. The framework shall include processes and tools for project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, status reporting, escalation, resource conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement.

Lead, train, coach, and mentor project managers within Operations on best practices for project management.

Lead major cross-functional projects and portfolios that include projects in manufacturing, production, service & warranty, quality, supply chain, and product development.

Collaborate with project managers and leaders across PROCEPT to leverage tools and processes to drive improvements and will be accountable for results which may impact the entire operations team.

Maintain a full portfolio view of all major projects that impact Operations personnel including resource allocation, relative priority, and status.

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure resources are used efficiently.

Be accountable for the success of project status updates with focus on critical path items, new and updated risks, and mitigation plans.

Provide stakeholders with visibility and updates on key initiatives.

With minimal guidance, be able to compliantly create unique processes and / or update processes / systems to improve efficiencies throughout the organization.

Develop and share Smartsheet or similar reports with the goal to increasing transparency and improving efficiency.

The employee may occasionally need to travel 25% domestically and internationally for business.

Maintains trained status for, and complies with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure regulatory compliance.

Understands and adheres to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS Policies.

BS or MS degree, preferably in Engineering.

8+ years of medical device manufacturing operations experience or equivalent.

5+ years of project management experience including managing direct reports.

Experience working in a structured design process such as ISO 13485 or FDA QSR, knowledge of regulatory approval processes and requirements.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, supplier agreements, or governmental regulations.

Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a small, fast-paced company.

Ability to balance firsthand detailed tasks and project management / planning phases and functions.

Strong written and oral communication skills are required to convey advanced information and persuade several diverse stakeholders / audiences.

Ability to use conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications.

Strong people skills and the ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders.

$162,000 - $191,000 a year. Compensation also includes a 15% annual bonus, flexible time off, and RSUs.

The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.

We'll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
