Position Overview : Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Qualifications : Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant : Education : High School Diploma or GED. Certification : Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred Experience : 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office. Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant : Education : High School Diploma or GED. Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification / registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
