Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Philadelphia, PA.

As Ceramics Maker, you will own the production process for all of our pieces from start to finish.

You'll work hand in hand with our founder and Director of Design and Product Development to make ideas become reality.

From receiving to production to fulfillment, you will be involved in every step of the production and fulfillment process, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and mix raw materials used in our forms and glazes Execute slip casting techniques to produce ceramic forms Apply glazes to ceramic pieces with precision and attention to detail Load and unload kilns, ensuring proper arrangement and temperature control Perform routine maintenance on kilns Conduct quality control inspections to identify and rectify any defects or imperfections Shipping and receiving tasks Documenting processes & production in Google Sheets and Asana Regularly lift and / or move objects up to 50 pounds Mandatory Qualifications and Skills Extremely organized High eye for detail and commitment to quality Passionate about working with your hands Passionate about systems and production processes Good communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience in ceramics production or a related field Knowledge of ceramic materials, techniques, and equipment Experience with kiln maintenance Experience with slip casting Experience with hand and power tools Experience with glaze calculation software Experience with Adobe Suite Experience managing other team members Benefits Flexible Work Schedule Be a part of a growing, dynamic, and fast paced company Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement How to Apply If you're passionate about ceramics and eager to contribute to a fast paced and growing ceramics company, we'd love to hear from you!
