CompX Grayslake is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical and electromechanical locking devices, systems for world class original equipment manufacturers and manufacture of precision instruments, throttles, marine products, and accessories.

The candidate should be self-motivated, multi-tasking individual who has good communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Responsibilities :

• Prepare parts for shipping to outside vendors (transaction and physical preparation).
• Load and unload packages from incoming trucks.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Ability to receive, pick / pull, and ship material via UPS, FedEx, etc.
• Deliver parts to respective areas in the plant.
• Transfer material in / out of stockroom.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, etc.).
• Perform Cycle counts and transact material in ERP system.
• Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
• Put away product / material.
• Other Duties Assigned.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Physical Requirements :

Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment.

Monday – Thursday, 6 : 30 am- 3 : 00 pm and Friday, 6 : 30 am -5 : 00 pm
