Position Summary:

Deli Clerks make sure customers have a great experience by keeping products available, greeting customers and offering timely, friendly, and caring service. Clerks make sure the Deli is clean, well-stocked, and looks good. They ensure our products and practices follow all safety rules. Additionally, they help out in other parts of the store.

Location: 622 Selby Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55104

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 11am-6pm

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Retail and/or food industry experience
• Multilingual: Communicates in more than one language

Physical and Working Requirements:

The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the deli and storage areas. Occasional positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Deli Clerks may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving. Deli Clerks will utilize various equipment including but not limited to knives, slicers, and ovens. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person and over the phone. Additionally, Deli Clerks may occasionally work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, natural molds, and loud noises. This position requires an individual to be at least 18 years old.
