Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT X-Ray Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week urgent care assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an urgent and emergency care setting providing CT and diagnostic X-ray exams
  • Floats between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius as required
  • 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Cares for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment
  • Uses Epic EMR, with Epic experience preferred
  • Performs both CT and X-ray imaging independently or as part of a radiologic team
  • Required to float between departments and local sites based on operational needs
  • Must follow all hospital policies and procedures
  • Returning permanent staff must wait at least one year before being eligible for travel positions
  • Pass / fail testing required during orientation; unsuccessful candidates will not continue in the assignment
  • A safe work environment is maintained through mandatory dosimeter monitoring

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Current New Mexico MIRTP Radiologic Technologist License with CT designation required if applicable
  • Primary ARRT and ARRT (CT) certifications required
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross required
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must use a dosimeter badge provided by the agency to monitor radiation exposure
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals are not eligible
