Medical Technologist (MT / MLS) - Night shift

20 minutes outside of the city (Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Medical Technologist - This 70-bed acute care community hospital is looking for a full-time Medical Technologist (MT|MLS). It is located 20 minutes outside of Lexington, KY - a beautiful area with a lower cost of living!

Job description :

• Responsible for the performance of Lab testing
• Provides prompt and accurate Lab tests for patient in the hospital and the surrounding community
• Collects specimens for laboratory examination by venipuncture, various culture techniques, etc.
• Adheres to OSHA, CLIA, and Joint Commission regulations.
• Keeps appropriate logs and records, data entry and retrieval of patient results, and accession of patient specimens.
• Report STAT results within 60 minutes, perform manual tests as required, and set up bacteria on appropriate media
