PRIMARY FUNCTION

Dismantles, rebuilds, and installs panel boards, control cases, cable reels and associated electrical equipment.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

Small hand tools, volt-ohm meter, hoist, fork truck, hydraulic crimpers, micrometer, calipe

COMPETENCY CHECKLIST

1. Use basic math

2. Perform metric conversions

3. Read electrical schematics

4. Use tape

5. Use micrometer

6. Use caliper

7. Use feeler gauge

8. Use current gauge

10. Proper operation of fork trucks

11. Proper operation of cranes

12. Safety training (Haz-Com, Lock Out / Tag Out, Confined Space, BBP, High Voltage, Lifting)

13. Knowledgeable of ISO

14. Basic computer skills

15. Knowledgeable of SAP applications

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

__________ Three or more years experience in electrical repair of mining equipment
