Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift, 13 Weeks Contract

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, while promoting a safe environment for both patients and employees.

Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans.

Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.

Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, focusing on education and positive outcomes.

Communicate changes in patient status to the appropriate care providers to ensure continuity of care.

Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.

Maintain a safe work environment and promote safety in patient care.

Contribute positively to the unit's functioning and participate in team-building activities.

Identify service needs related to supplies and equipment with management.

BLS Certification required prior to first shift.

ACLS certification required prior to first shift (if applicable).

This position requires a day shift working three 12-hour shifts.
