Essential Functions :
Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and MissionAssists with routine inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of equipmentAssists with repairs, as neededAssists with equipment demonstration, loading, and unloading of equipmentMaintains equipment inventory systems according to standard operating proceduresResponsible for general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards, maintaining a safe and hazard-free yardMaintains company equipment – keeps in good, clean, and orderly conditionWorks safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of construction and rental industry equipmentKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceEquipment selection skills - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a jobUses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organizationFirst-class organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline-orientedAbility to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipmentThe ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objectsAbility to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accuratelyAbility to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelinessAbility to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsThe ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentencesEducation and Experience :
