Cut Off Operator

Brief Summary :

The Cut Off Operator assists Weld Mill Operator with changeovers, set up and splicing on the tube mill.

Responsibilities :

• Changeover and set up mills.
• Operate lower end of the mill (Saw), continuously monitor pipe size, ovality, length, straightness, inside flash and quality of product being produced.
• Set up stencil equipment.
• Perform maintenance on mills as required.
• Communicate and work with Mill Operator on a team basis.
• Basic housekeeping in general work area.
• Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in this job description.
