Job descriptionPosition is in an acute care teaching hospital with 349 beds and level 2 trauma designation Assignment is in the Cardiac Cath Lab Role involves patient admissions, recovery, and discharge related to cath lab procedures Duties include IVs, medication administration, triage, wound care, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and use of restraints and cardiac monitors Cerner EMR is used in this setting Schedule is 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to cardiac cath lab patients throughout their procedure continuum Team-based environment with support from interdisciplinary staff Completion of required training modules prior to assignment start Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate If previously employed at the health system, a review process is required to determine eligibility for return Active NY RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab RN experience Current BLS and ACLS, AHA only Two recent professional references from managers in the current discipline / specialty Experience with admissions, recovery, and discharge of cath lab patients strongly preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
