Senior Staff Accountant (Healthcare Finance)

Why this role matters We're looking for a service-driven accounting professional to be the bridge between Finance and the rest of the organization. You'll keep month-end tight, capitation reconciliations accurate, and client / provider communication clearso our leaders can focus on growth. This is a backfill (our VP is currently doing two jobs), and we're ready to move fast for the right person.

What you'll do

• Serve as the liaison between Finance and cross-functional partners; communicate clearly with clients and providers as needed.
• Own monthly financial statementsprepare accurately and deliver on time.
• Reconcile monthly capitation reports from health plans.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and workpapers; support a rigorous, GAAP-compliant close.
• Run weekly / monthly check runs for assigned clients.
• Partner closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve Finance-related issues.
• Mentor and train junior staff as assigned; potential to assume supervisory responsibilities as the department grows.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $71000.00 - $82000.00 / yr. Sante is celebrating over 30 years of service to the community.
