About the Role :

As an EMT-P (Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic), you will play a critical role in providing advanced emergency medical care to patients in urgent situations. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' conditions, administer appropriate treatments, and transport them safely to an emergency department. You will work closely with other emergency responders and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless transition of care. This position requires quick decision-making and the ability to perform under pressure, as you will often be the first point of contact for patients in distress. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the health and well-being of individuals in your community during their most vulnerable moments.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Current New York State certification as a Paramedic (EMT-P).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

The required skills for this position include advanced medical knowledge and the ability to perform complex procedures in high-stress situations. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, physical stamina and dexterity are necessary for performing hands-on medical procedures and lifting patients.
