Job Description : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Join a dedicated team at a full-service community health system located in Clinton, Iowa. As a CRNA, you will be integral in providing anesthesiology services to a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide professional anesthesiology services for adult and pediatric patients.
- Directly manage and supervise anesthesiology services in a timely manner, providing scheduled and “on call” coverage.
- Administer general and regional anesthesia, intravenous sedation, and other anesthetic procedures as required.
- Conduct pre-evaluation anesthesia services and post-surgical monitoring for complications.
- Collaborate with the OR Leadership Team and clinical staff to ensure high standards of care.
- Maintain a presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring to motivate others within the team.
- Respond promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies, following current medical standards.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation.
Qualifications :
Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA).Iowa license or be willing to obtain an IMLC.Preferred : Minimum of 5 years of CRNA work experience.Experience with pediatric and adult anesthesia procedures is required.BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire).ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire).Preferred : Clean malpractice history.License and Certification Requirements :
