Job Description
The Production Line Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing truck-mount carpet cleaning systems. This role involves building, wiring, plumbing, and testing components.
Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components, wiring, hoses, and plumbing systems on equipment units.
Perform basic electrical wiring and connections for switches, gauges, and control panels.
Install pumps, motors, belts, hoses, and other key components.
Conduct testing on completed units to ensure proper function, including water flow, pressure, and vacuum systems.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices in the handling and operation of mechanical equipment and tools.
Essential Skills
Experience in mechanical assembly.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, automotive, small engine, or related work.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and follow written instructions.
Physically able to perform all aspects of assembling, building and handle tools.
Experience with a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm. The role is based in a sheet metal job shop environment where you will be using various tools and equipment. Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug and background check.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
