Orthodontic Assistant (OA) / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

The ideal candidate will LOVE working with people and have the following qualifications :
- Great customer service skills and a passion for working with kids
- Minimum 1 year as an RDA or OA preferred in orthodontic practice
- Must possess an OA
- Fun, positive, and caring attitude
- Team-oriented
- Must be available for full-time 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), or part-time 3 days per week schedule Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays
- Responsible, respectful, and self-motivated
Job duties include :
Allowable RDA and OA duties as set forth by the Dental Board of CaliforniaAssisting the dentist / orthodontist during examinations and treatmentSupporting day-to-day operations by delivering quality work and excellent patient careRecording treatment information in patient records and all pertinent medical and dental historyPreparing treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental proceduresSterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipmentGreeting patients by name and preparing them for treatment with a friendly, service-centered dispositionUtilizing pano, cephs, iTero, and other approved photography toolsOur office provides the following benefits :
