Estimator Job Duties :

• Handles incoming calls and directs them to appropriate colleagues.
• Serves as receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and applicants.
• Receive take offs and proposal emails from the field and categorize them by priority.
• Procure pricing of materials from the preset price books.
• Translate from construction lingo to professional industry standard English to be sent to customers.
• Communicate with vendors and procure the cost of rare materials and use in estimates.
• Cleanup and finalize an estimate by adding photos, maps descriptions, details, palettes and attach to QuickBooks estimate.
• Prepare seasonal estimates for all Apelinc projects for both LA and SD branches such as trimming, mulching, seeding and spring fill-ins.
• Prepare estimates by calculating complete scope of work.
• Operates office machines, including copiers, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
