Maintenance Supervisor for McClellan Bottling Group

  • Developing and implementing maintenance procedures to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Leading and coordinating maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This is a working role.
  • Conducting regular inspections of equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Managing inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
  • Training and supervising maintenance staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize production downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitoring maintenance costs and finding ways to optimize maintenance processes and reduce expenses.

Skills required

Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting various types of equipment and machinery, both electrical and mechanical issues.

480vac 3 phase motors, pumps, and VFDS

low voltage control systems. 24dc

Knowledge of PET blow molding.

Reciprocating air compressors.

Basic welding and fab work.

Leadership : Ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a positive work environment.

Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Communication : Good communication skills to interact with team members, management, and other departments effectively.

Organizational Skills : Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and coordinate maintenance activities to meet production requirements.

Attention to Detail : Thoroughness in conducting inspections, documenting maintenance activities, and ensuring accuracy in work performed.

Safety Management : In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.

Training and Development : Experience in training and developing maintenance staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Adaptability : Flexibility to handle unexpected challenges, changing priorities, and fluctuating production demands in a dynamic work environment.

Computer skills : must have basic knowledge of Microsoft office including word, excel and CMMS background. PLC knowledge is a plus

Requirement to have 5 years in a food manufacturing environment
