Controls Engineer

Title :  Controls Engineer

Location :   Vinton, VA

Salary :   $90,000-$105,000

Position Overview

Founded in 1975, we specialize in SCADA and automation systems for water and wastewater utilities across the U.S. We serve municipalities, utility districts, and private water companies with tailored control solutions. As a Controls Engineer, you'll design, program, and implement automation systems that keep critical infrastructure running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for industrial automation projects.
• Develop and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to meet project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
