CUST SVS REPRESENTATIVE

POSITION OVERVIEW

The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.

Following established department policies and procedures, act as switchboard operator.

In absence of volunteer at reception desk, lend assistance to patients and visitors entering hospital through visitors entrance.

Perform other job-related duties as directed by Supervisor such as looking up patient accounts for Medical Records and assembling reports so that they can be scanned into the Meditech system for Medical Records

Checking the Cheer Card Program at the beginning and ending of their shift to see if Cheer cards need to be printed out for patients.

Pulling newspaper for Sat and Sun for the Switchboard Supervisor

Be the back-up person for the Switchboard Supervisor when individual is out on vacation or sick leave

REQUIREMENTS

Education :

Completion of High School or GED preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of one year related experience.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required :

Must be able to work with the public
