And we're excited to get to know you and find out what you'll bring to this intimate, diverse nursing role.\nYour Everyday\n\nPrioritize, coordinate and delegate all care touchpoints for your patients.\n\nMaintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.\n\nMonitor and engage with patients, families, and appropriate care team members concerning significant events or patient condition changes.\n\nPrevent and treat wounds.\n\nMonitor and execute Joint Commission infection control and environment of care requirements.\n\nEnsure continuity of care, efficient throughput, consistent communications, and an exceptional experience for every patient.\n\nAdvise and consult with supervisor when unable to complete assignments or perform tasks promptly, effectively, or safely.\n\nInitiate patient and family education using appropriate resources and care services.Address patient questions and concerns.\n\nContribute to the team by assistingothers without being asked.\n\nThe Must-Haves\nMinimum : \n\nCurrent nursing license to practice in the state of Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing\n\nCurrent American Heart Association BLS certification.\n\nCurrent ACLS, CPI and PALS certifications.(Must obtain within 6 months of hire).\n\nENPC (can be substitute for PALS at UMC or EJMC ERs) (Must obtain within 6 months of hire)\n\nPreferred : \n\nEmergency Room experience and ER nursing knowledge\n\nWORK SHIFT : \nVariable Hours (United States of America)\n\nLCMC Health is a community.\n\nOur people make health happen.
