Job description
A company is looking for a Software Development Director to lead its global software engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with company objectives while providing architectural guidance
Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams, establishing clear goals and growth opportunities
Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of product initiatives and optimize workflows and technical decision-making
Qualifications & Skills
10+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles
Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional engineering teams in complex environments
Strong expertise in modern architectures, cloud infrastructure, and microservices
Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI / CD practices
Experience managing distributed teams and scaling organizations across multiple geographies
