Role Summary :

As a working leader of the Ramp Agents, the Chief Ramp Agent will assume the responsibility and accountability of the team while leading, directing, motivating, evaluating and approving the work of the Ramp Agents. This is a union represented position.

Key Duties :

• Responsible for checking and correcting reports and other documentation.
• Supervising and directing the work of Ramp Agents.
• Accountable for inventory in the commissary area.
• Responsible for communicating correct placement of cargo and baggage and provide final count to weight and balance.
• Loading, stowing and unloading of all cargo and baggage in accordance with flight loading plans.
• Pick-up and delivery of all cargo, including mail, express, baggage, freight Company material, commissary supplies.
• Preparation, reporting and accounting of necessary documents relating to work performed.
• Cleaning of aircraft baggage pits and immediate work areas.
• Operation of automotive equipment in connection with the above duties, and only after proper training.
• Insert and remove chocks and safety lines.
• Responsible for receipt and dispatch of aircraft and related ancillary duties.
• May be required to perform the duties of Cleaners : limited to cleaning of offices in surrounding areas and aircraft. Such duties may be assigned only as the needs of the service require.
• May also be required to perform Move Team work.
• May also be utilized for aircraft fueling and ground equipment fueling.

Starting Rate : USD $18.17 / Hr. Total Rewards :
