We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented General Manager to lead the operations of our growing custom Cabinetry and Millwork division. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of daily operations, including p&l, sales, estimating, drafting, project management and team management. This individual will play a key role in driving profitability, ensuring operational efficiency, and building strong relationships with vendors, customers, and employees. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities for the General Manager:

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations, including sales, estimating, drafting, project management, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and expand market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, contractors, and customers.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate procurement activities, and ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.
• Lead, train, and develop employees across various departments, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence and meet business goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to optimize profitability and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements of the General Manager:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in the cabinetry and millwork space
• Proven ability to manage multi-functional teams and drive operational efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement processes, and logistics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in business management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations in the distribution and building materials industry.
• Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and create performance reports.
