Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Hermiston, Oregon (97838) – Eastern Oregon healthcare jobs

Setting : Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : Day Shift Flex, 12-hour rotating shifts

Number of Positions : 2 PACU RN jobs available

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2030 - $2180

PACU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Oregon nursing license preferred

Minimum 1 year of PACU or perioperative nursing experience

BLS certification (required)

Ability to work rotating shifts and participate in scheduled on-call rotation

Strong communication and patient advocacy skills

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I and II, and monitor local-only patients in the operating room

Administer sedation for select procedures as needed

Ensure high-quality care for pre- and post-procedure patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards

Act as a patient advocate and supervise assigned healthcare personnel

Support hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures

Participate in regular scheduled on-call rotation for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
