Overview

The Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) installs, administers, and maintains the operational database (ODB) environment. Responsibilities include environment setup, configuration, proactive monitoring, maintenance, SFTP configuration, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain ODB environments.
• Set up and maintain SFTP services.
• Perform proactive monitoring and routine maintenance.
• Document system configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Director of Applications and Reporting to resolve issues.

Physical Demands

Moderately active office work, frequent movement, occasional travel within the SRHS service area. Requires ability to lift, carry, or push objects, use repetitive motions, and maintain visual acuity for computer and printed materials.

Mental Demands

Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain collaborative relationships across SRHS and partner organizations.

Special Demands

Superior customer service, proficiency with office technology (MS Office, Outlook), and professional etiquette. Ability to exercise appropriate clinical judgment with patient-who-is-all-ages population.
