About Mommy Poppins
Mommy Poppins is the trusted resource since 2007 for families and partners across the U.S. servicing 16 metro markets, connecting parents with local activities, events, and services that enrich family life. Our business model uniquely serves both small businesses and local partners as well as large enterprise accounts and agency clients. We’re looking for a rising star in sales who can thrive in this dual landscape.
The Role
We are seeking a Strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the front line of our sales team. This person will handle incoming leads, proactively prospect based on our Ideal Client Profile (ICP), and play a vital role in supporting sales operations. This is a high-growth role designed for someone who wants to learn, contribute, and quickly advance within our sales organization.
The ideal candidate is organized, curious, and ambitious — someone who understands how to balance the needs of local small business advertisers with those of enterprise clients and agencies and can deliver on both ends of the spectrum.
Key Responsibilities
Qualify and engage with inbound leads to close the sale
Research, identify, and prospect new opportunities across defined target categories
Support sales team with CRM hygiene, pipeline updates, reporting, and outreach campaigns
Collaborate closely with reps to set qualified meetings and demos
Contribute to building and optimizing outreach playbooks and messaging strategies
Understand and articulate Mommy Poppins’ value proposition for small businesses, large enterprises, and agencies
Track market feedback and relay insights to sales and marketing teams
Consistently hit (and exceed) activity and pipeline generation goals
What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing role (internships and entry-level experience welcome if motivated)
Strong communication skills — both written and verbal
Comfort with CRM systems (Zoho CRM) and sales tools (Apollo)
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Coachable and eager to learn with a growth mindset
Self-motivated, resilient, and persistent in pursuit of goals
Passionate about helping businesses succeed, from local shops to national brands
What We Offer
Fully remote with flexible hours
Competitive compensation with base salary + commission
Opportunity to advance quickly in a stable and growing sales organization
Exposure to both SMB and Enterprise sales cycles — a rare dual experience
Collaborative team environment with mentorship and training
The chance to be part of a mission-driven company making a real impact for families and communities
