We are seeking a skilled Metal Forming Manufacturing Engineer to sustain and improve production processes for key forming press equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in SolidWorks, attention to detail, demonstrated hands-on experience, solid project management experience with Microsoft tools, and a minimum of five years in press-based metal forming environments. An engineering degree and experience with progressive die processes are required. Knowledge of progressive die design and additional fabrication methods (welding, heat treatment) are highly valued. Note : this is a process-focused role, not a supervisory position.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Management & Optimization

Sustain and improve production processes for forming press equipment, including :

20-ton single hit press (MULTIPRESS)

Partner with manufacturing, design, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and maintain reliable process and equipment operation.

Lead process improvement projects with Microsoft Project to deliver results on time and within budget.

Resolve issues involving mechanical systems, tooling, and progressive die processes.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all forming and fabrication processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.

Minimum 5 years in metals manufacturing engineering, focused on process management.

Proficient in SolidWorks for tooling design and modification.

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
