Job Summary
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital is a fully accredited Level 1 Trauma Program. The Trauma Case Manager plays an essential role in the operations of Trauma and Geisinger's strategic priorities. Some of those responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily review of the clinical management guidelines for each patient, direct patient interaction and tracking various quality performance indicators for accreditation. The Trauma Case Manager will also round with the trauma clinical team.
Job Duties
The RN Case Manager Trauma is responsible for ensuring optimal quality, clinical and financial outcomes; networking, assuring availability and coordinating needed patient and family services, identifying and advocating for individual needs of patients, identifying and resolving patterns of variance having a negative quality, clinical and financial impact, and creating action plans and systems to optimize clinical and system outcomes.
This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly; Days. Minimum of 3 years previous RN work experience is required; Trauma / Critical Care experience preferred.

Graduate from Specialty Training Program- (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Preferred)
