Who We Want

We’re seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Business Development professional to expand Bridgepoint’s reach across the Private Equity, Investment Banking, Family Office, and Venture Capital communities in the Northeast region (DC to Boston).

You’re a strategic connector and trusted advisor who thrives on building relationships at the C-suite level and across deal teams. You understand the nuances of the M&A and transaction ecosystem and can identify where Bridgepoint’s consulting services — from finance transformation and interim leadership to transaction advisory and technology enablement — can add measurable value.

You are a hunter who enjoys sourcing new relationships and identifying opportunities, but also a team player who collaborates with market leaders, subject matter experts, and delivery teams to drive client success and build lasting relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on Private Equity, Investment Banking, Family Office, and late-stage Venture Capital firms across the Northeast, DC – Boston
  • Cultivate new relationships and deepen existing ones with deal originators, portfolio operations teams, and C-suite executives
  • Identify and position opportunities for Bridgepoint’s services, including :
  • Transaction Advisory & Integration
  • Interim & Fractional CFO / Controller support
  • Finance, Accounting, and Operations Optimization
  • Technology Enablement & ERP Solutions
  • Risk & Compliance Consulting
  • Collaborate closely with internal leadership and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagement and follow-through
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, deal flow, and portfolio company challenges to position Bridgepoint as a trusted partner
  • Represent Bridgepoint at industry events, conferences, and networking forums across the region
  • Track activity through CRM, report pipeline progress, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience within professional services, management consulting, or a related environment
  • Proven track record selling into Private Equity and M&A ecosystems — familiarity with investment banking and transaction advisory models a plus
  • Experience selling to or working with CFOs, CEOs, and PE operating partners
  • Strong networking, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated success in a hunter role — prospecting, developing, and closing new client relationships
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to align client needs with Bridgepoint’s service offerings
  • High degree of professionalism, accountability, and business acumenAbility to travel throughout the Northeast region (DC–Boston corridor)

  • Base salary from $160k to $200k (DOE) + uncapped commission
