Utilizing a telehealth-based platform where bedside clinicians collaborate with wound care nurses in a call center, our organization provides comprehensive wound care to health plan and medical group patients, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities, utilizing the most advanced wound care products. We have an opening for a Sr. Medical Director to be based in our Hollywood, Florida office. The Sr. Medical Director will be responsible for overall clinical management of our organization. This position will: Ensure proper clinical standards and protocols are followed Develop improved communication and workflow between clinicians and office staff Assist in developing an improved platform for Care Management Team with data capture Develop a more streamlined and comprehensive education program at all levels with improved reporting Assist with Business Development in strategic opportunities Develop an Associate Medical Director engagement outreach program Monitor clinical data and outcomes Assist with analytic dashboard development Review clinical onboarding procedures, education and training Manage and continually improve clinical rounds with the plans and groups Other duties and projects as assigned by the company Florida state medical license is preferred but not required Must have corporate/leadership/operational experience Must have experience working for a health plan carrier Our organization offers a comprehensive benefits package to include health, dental, life, disability and a 401(K).
