  • Job Opportunity : Compassionate Driver Needed for Adult Day Habilitation Program

Are you a reliable and empathetic individual who values punctuality and safety? Were looking for a dedicated driver to transport adults with autism to and from our program. This role is crucial in providing a safe, comfortable, and timely journey for our passengers. If you're passionate about making a positive impact, we want to hear from you!

  • Driver
  • Responsibilities :
  • Timely Transport :
  • Adhere strictly to the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. Split-shift schedule with each shift lasting 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Safety First :
  • Ensure that all passengers are safely secured in their seats with seat belts before driving.
  • Assist Passengers :
  • Get out of the van to help adults into and out of the vehicle, offering support and ensuring their comfort.
  • Comfort and Care :
  • Maintain a positive and supportive demeanor, making sure the environment within the van is welcoming and comfortable.
  • Time Management :
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills to ensure timely arrivals and departures, effectively balancing split shifts.
  • Requirements :
  • Valid Drivers License :
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid drivers license.
  • Reliability :
  • Strong commitment to punctuality and consistency.
  • Compassion and Patience :
  • Ability to provide emotional support and understand the needs of individuals with autism.
  • Communication Skills :
  • Effective communication skills to interact respectfully with passengers and coordinate with program staff.
  • Physical Ability :
  • Ability to assist passengers in and out of the van as needed, and ensure all safety measures are followed.
