Raleigh Divorce Law Firm is looking for a Family Law Attorney to support our growing practice, prior family law experience is preferred.

Our Firm is invested in providing the highest quality of legal services to our clients and in order to do that we invest in helping our attorneys develop all aspects of their career. We believe in working from a solutions driven approach that requires creativity and thinking outside the box. Our Firm will provide in-depth, ongoing training on a broad range of skills and help attorneys refine and perfect their existing skills; this includes specific training on drafting pleadings, handling discovery, trial preparation, case management, and working with clients to develop effective strategies tailored to the needs of their case. Our Firm handles a wide range of complex cases, including high conflict custody cases and complex equitable distribution cases. This position comes with the opportunity to work with more experienced attorneys and receive extensive training on a variety of different cases and skills. Candidates should be able to work successfully in a team environment and have the ability to accept constructive feedback and mentoring, while also communicating effectively with newer attorneys, paralegals and other team members.

Responsibilities :

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, and discovery requests
• Handle trial preparation and case management for litigation cases
• Communicate with clients in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain organized case files and documentation in accordance with Firm protocols
• Communicate effectively and professionally with court staff, opposing counsels, and other parties involved in cases
• Represent clients in settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, arbitration and trials
• Co-counsel cases with more experienced attorneys
