The Clinitiative Team is accountable for the broader oversight of sites' business development initiatives along with the diligent execution of supportive tasks towards reaching their strategic objectives. Our top-tier business development, operations, and marketing programs have been carefully crafted to accommodate the unique needs of our clients. We work closely with our Sponsor (pharmaceutical / biotech) and CRO (clinical research organization) partners to make sure they are selecting the best sites to help their clinical programs successful. We "take the initiative" assisting excellent research organizations continue their path of success.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, researching, and communicating with prospective clients. This includes client outreach, market research while keeping detailed records. The position reports directly to the company’s executive team.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Ability to understand complex scientific concepts in the pharma and biotech industry and effectively communicate Clinitiative's value proposition to prospective clients
- Ability to learn, understand, and use the drug R&D process to communicate with prospective clients
- Aggressively build a pipeline of new opportunities to ensure attainment of goals
- Persistent outreach interactions and follow-up on relevant inquiries via email, telephone, video, industry conferences and office visits
- Development and submission of proposals and agreements for prospective clients
- Establishing new and maintaining existing industry and customer contacts for continuing good relations and business opportunity development
- Achieve assigned sales quota
- Coordinate sales activities with all other departments of the Company
- Ensure client satisfaction through continued relationship management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
5+ years experience in the clinical research industry5+ years of sales or related experience in clinical research within a Site Network, CRO, Sponsor / Pharmaceutical company that provides knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the jobKnowledge of the drug R&D process at pharma and biotech levelExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized and team orientedSelf-motivated with demonstrated experience in identifying and developing sales leads and strategies to increase win rateComfortable giving presentations to knowledgeable audienceA self-starter and a hunter’s mentalityAttention to detailUS work authorization (Required)Bachelor's in Science (Preferred)Salesforce experience (Preferred)Science / sales background with understanding of clinical researchBenefits
