Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Profession : Surgical Tech

License : BLS required, NBSTSA or NCCT required

Certifications : BLS, NBSTSA, NCCT

Must-Have : Level I and II Trauma Experience, Ortho Experience, Spine Experience, Vascular Experience, Newborn, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric Patient Population Experience

Description :

Provides assistance and support to the surgeon and operative team to ensure a safe environment.

Equipment functions properly and adheres to surgical concepts and infection control principles.

The Surgical Technologist works under the supervision of the registered nurse.

Experience with various patient populations including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults is required.
