Description :

Position open for a Registered Nurse in a Medical / Surgical / Oncology unit.

The role involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical surgical field.

The unit has 24 beds and a staff of 19 members.

The typical patient ratio on the night shift is 1 : 5.

The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.

Standard medical surgical care and chemotherapy administration are performed on this unit.

Chemotherapy can only be administered by chemotherapy certified nurses.

A positive attitude and willingness to work as a team are essential for applicants.

The unit emphasizes team support and collaboration, fostering a strong work environment.

The facility is recognized for its quality care and values input from nursing staff in patient care delivery.

A smartphone nursing system is utilized for immediate communication among care team members.
